Inside my purse.

I think what a person carries around with them in their purse tells a lot about themselves. So here it goes:

1. Lipstick & Gloss
 I try to keep lipgloss ( Chanel) and lipstick( Dior and Versace) with me as well as eyeliner (Laura Mericer).
2. Bottle Opener:
I stole this from a mini bar in a hotel room in Sorrento. I seem to have forgotten to take it out..
3. Wallet:
I got this wallet from my mom a few years ago, it's special to me because it was my mom's first LV wallet from 30 years ago (here is the closest match).
4. Key Chain:
This is a sweet keychain from Marc Jacobs that I got as a gift. The coolest thing about it is when you blow on the gold circle and it creates a sphere that says I love you.
5.lose change:
I seem to still be carrying around a euro in the bottom of my purse. I have this problem with throwing change in my bag instead of putting it in my wallet.
6.Aleve & green capped jar:
I get migraines so keeping aleve near is a must for me, Also I have found this minty smelling concoction that you massage into your forehead which helps me relax.
7. sunglasses and sunglass cleaner:
Its always sunny in Florida so sunglasses (Prada) are a everyday must.
8. movie stubs and bottle cap:
Fun little memories that snuck into my purse.
9. keys
This PBR boat keychain was given to me by my uncle when I saw it and communicated to him that I needed it for comical reasons.
10. iPhone 4
 My most useful accessory.

Grey Sky

(Clothes: Armani Exchange, bracelet: gifted from NYC, shoes: Sam Edelman)

What I love most about these jeans are the fact that they are so comfortable and stretchy. The skinny leg style has become a favorite of mine because they so perfect to wear when trying to feature a pair of shoes.  This top may look simple but you can actually wear it frontwards and backwards. Either way you wear it this piece is fabulous.

Festival Necessities

Festival fashion can sometimes be finicky.   Finding the right outfit, coming across comfortable/stylish shoes and tracking down that perfect purse. These are all things that the festival goer deals with.  Luckily designers are starting to recognize these challenges and have created some pretty nifty (yes I said nifty) solutions.

Reflect

{ shoes by Trouve, tights by Veneziana, shorts by Bebe, shirt by Topshop, }

This is sort of a random collaboration I put together that include both new and old things.  in Soho over New Years I found this top and I hadn't really ever worn it until now.  It's one of those pieces that make you work to wear it and finding that perfect thing to match it with is what makes this top so glorifying to wear.

little airplane

 {shoes: unknown, shorts: Massimo for Target, shirt: Walmart, sweater: Spirit, bikini top: from Cheque Terre, earrings: Chanel}

A shirt from Walmart? I know. But the thin fabric and retro-tribal print makes for this shirt to be just perfect for a laid back Floridan summer. I have decided though, this trip to Walmart will probably be the last since while at the register I had looked down and found a persons "weave" on the ground.  Today was filled with fun & adventure along with a great home cooked meal and me trying to catch airplanes as we watched them come in for landing. Oh and why I'm wearing a sweater in 99 degree weather? Because apparently I'm always cold.. haha..

Florence

{Florence the city of gold & leather. Heaven on earth? I think yes.}

Known for their high quality craftsmanship, the Florentines have an outstanding reputation when it comes to the production of gold and leather products.  While looking for a leather jacket, I stumbled across this bag with the oh-so-perfect long detachable strap I've been searching for.

Tyler St.

{ shoes: Forever21, leggings: Veneziana,  dress: Free People, bra: Hanky Panky, purse: from Florence, sunglasses: Chanel}

Downtown Tampa seems to be a place that is unexplored by not only myself but also many others who live in the area. Led by my natural sense of curiosity, we explored this area a bit more today.  I've been playing around a lot with lacy leggings recently. while in Italy I was able to snag these Veneziana's along with a few other pairs with varying patterns xo

KENRA

I recently have been introduced to KENRA hair products and they are truly the best I've come across in quite some time.  Plus styling is really easy (and it smells good too).  First take a pump of the silkening gloss and run it through freshly washed hair, proceed to blow-dry until hair is halfway dried.  Put another pump of the silkening gloss and a small dollop of styling creme into hair and blow-dry until complete.  When your hair is completely dry it will feel light & silky smooth xo

Vogue: July 2011

The self claimed avid painter Emma Watson graces the cover of USA Vogue this July. In the article Watson explains what she plans on doing after the Harry Potter trilogy concludes.  Elegantly written by Amanda Foreman and photographed by Mario Testino, one can tell this young and intelligent women's career in cinema and fashion has just begun.

minimal baroque prada

 These minimal baroque prada's are definitely a pair of sunglasses that come around once in a lifetime. While in Venice I was able to be the first to purchase them in the Prada store & ever since they've been glued to my face.  with this summers unique trends these sunglasses will work out just fine.

Sahara Inn

{shoes: Toms for Neman Marcus, shorts: Topshop, sweater:  Juicy Couture, sunglasses: Prada, purse: handmade in Florence, bracelet left: David Yurman, bracelet right: NYC street vendor, rings left:  vintage, vintage & Tiffany's, rings right: silver shop in San Giagamano}

Driving back from my parents place today Forrest and I stumbled upon this almost-creepy abandoned motel. The way things were left, as if people fled without warning, gave off a Trinoble vibe. The strangest part was that furniture, clothing and books where left as if someone was just there. eery.. non-the-less this place made perfect for mid day exploration and a great place to take some pictures.
for the longest time I've been trying to find something to pair with these Topshop shorts that I had gotten last winter in NYC, well I have finally done it. Paired with this Juicy Couture oversized/cropped sweater  these shorts finally have purpose in my wardrobe. Also on my wish list was a black leather bag with an oversized strap. While in Florence (a city known for leather) I found my perfect bag and have been obsessed with it ever since due to its versatility and the fact that it can literally fit everything I carry around with me everyday (a lot).  This bracelet was a wonderful surprise from Forrest's adventure in NYC and these sunglasses.. well.. they are a story of their own.

from Sorrento with love

(Dress: Derhy)

This dress is unlike anything that I've ever owned, but at the same time, everything fairytale I could've ever wanted. After dinner while walking around in Sorrento my mother and I stumbled on a small boutique. Being drawn into the store by another dress I quickly ditched that one and fell in love with this. I love the simple spaghetti straps carefully adorned with black and pink beads.  This is a fun summer dress that's versatile pattern can be worn day or night.

 Picked up some cool things today can't wait to share!
