NYE

 Today the clouds seemed to have engulfed the beach, which in turn was a perfect element to test my new lens out on. The zoom allows for extreme close ups which create new opportunities for getting that perfect shot. Happy NYE!!

You always know it's a great day when your family gifts you a moose-head hat. Interestingly enough this is the one thing I've been after for a while. The sheerling lining on these Ugg clogs keep feet just the right temperature for cooler days in Florida.... oh winter time.

What an incredible shoot. Not only is Yulia perfectly styled/madeup, but the photography is just stunning. Midenge portrays in her photography that perfect sepia look which seemed to encompass the 70's. I also can't seem to get over Yulia's ideal length in lashes, symmetrical bone structure, and awkwardly large tooth gap.  A sheer bellezza who is being added to my "Beauty" bar. 

P.S.  Skrillex got a Grammy nomination... how cool is that?!

Back from a quant visit up north, but I'm happy to be home and reconnecting with life. This skirt was one of the many pieces I found in my closet. This and one other skirt I had bought a while back from Bebe and never got the chance to wear either one because they were too big. I was hoping this year they would fit me and they did! 

I wore this first because I love the zipper aspect and for once am enjoying a large silver buckle.

A very cold Thanksgiving

This is the first time in 5 years that I've celebrating thanksgiving in my hometown, State College. Since I only come here once a year (usually xmas) I was excited to have a change of pace and experience fall for what it really is compared to the "fall" in Tampa. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Shoe Addiction

When friends start recognizing you out in public by what shoes your wearing, you know you have a slight problem. Apparently this addiction has been going on for a while now because while rummaging through my room at my parents house I found this incredibly intriguing and educational book solely (no pun intended) focused on crazy types of shoes. Highlighted below are a few pairs that I find uncommonly perfect and would love to add to my wardrobe.

{One of the most recognizable fashion trends from the 1970's

these extreme platforms are sure to raise anyones mood.}



{These Lars Hagen's from '91 are phenomenally perfect in their own distorted way,
plus its tactilely tempting}

{A shoe that represents mobility, speed and grace? Count me in.
These Burmese sequined slippers once adorned the feet of royalty in the late 1800's.}

{With a Jeffery Campbell silhouette and the combo of chocolate brown
with a splash of purple, yellow and orange brings these shoes to my melting status}

{These 1990 Rodger Vivier's keep it simple
 with their wooden sole that has a sort of italic feel}

{Andre Perugia kept ladies on their toes with this curvaceous design from 1937. 

These Jan Jansen's are also pretty intereging to me only because of their Jafar likeness (yes I'm referencing Aladdin)}
